Jose Bautista stays hot early in spring action (Video)

Toronto Blue Jays’ slugger Jose Bautista has struggled to stay healthy the last couple seasons. In 2012 he was held to 92 games and last season he was limited to 118 games. In both seasons he still managed to hit 27 and 28 home runs respectively, so there’s no question that the power surge that made him famous in 2010 is here to stay if he can just stay on the field.

Healthy and focused to start Spring Training in 2014, Bautista is off to a blistering hot start. In two games he is 3-for-4 thus far with two doubles and a home run. He kept things going Tuesday with this RBI double (video from MLB.com)

Obviously one can only read into the results so much this early on, but the Blue Jays still have to be thrilled to see Bautista looking this sharp.
