When the free agency market opens up in March, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jason Worilds will be available for teams to bid on and it appears that he will be in high demand. According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan on NFL Insiders, the 26-year-old Worilds will be a hot commodity as one of the best available pass rushers.

Caplan stated that  as many as “6-8 teams” will be in the hunt for Worilds and he could demand around $6-7 million a year.

After a breakout season with the Steelers where he had eight sacks, the team would likely prefer if he returned to the team but it is unlikely that they will be able to afford him with the amount of money that he is going to command.

Expect Worilds to be playing with a new team in 2014.
