Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington seems tired of Russell Wilson questions

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re likely aware that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is technically a member of the Texas Rangers organization since they own his baseball rights.

So in a gesture of goodwill and better marketing, Wilson has decided to attend Rangers spring training camp – at least for day – and will speak to the players and do a few drills like steal a base.

What he won’t do is take a swing in the cage, this according to manager Ron Washington who seems to be a bit irritated with all the questions surrounding the Seahawks quarterback.

He did give the standard company pitch though when asked about the Super Bowl winner:

“Our intentions are to see if there’s anything he can say that may help anyone around here that has on a baseball uniform,” Washington said. “This guy is a winner. He has tremendous character. He has attitude and undoubtedly has a lot of commitment to what he does. That’s what we’re about, and we just want him to feel comfortable.”

You can watch Washington’s irritation with the subject below.
