We’ve seen Indiana Pacers big man Roy Hibbert express frustration with his height before. Be it videos explaining the trails and tribulations of being seven plus feet or photos of him smashed uncomfortably in an airplane lavatory, Hibbert obviously isn’t a huge fan of his massive height – or at least isn’t a fan of the conveniences of we normal sized people.
But one thing Hibbert wasn’t going to be uncomfortable doing was sleeping, which is why the Pacers center purchased a bed larger than a New York studio apartment.
Seriously – this thing is massive.
Keep in mind, Hibbert is 7’2, 285 pounds and this bed makes him look relatively tiny.
Huge beds aren’t obviously that strange in regards to the NBA community as we’ve seen the bed of Charlotte Bobcats power forward Al Jefferson before, which looks to be similar to that of Hibbert’s. Still – that’s pretty impressive.
The former Georgetown product says the bed is 8×9 (though that doesn’t really due it much justice). Next time hopefully he’ll post a photo of a small dog on the bed for some perspective.
