With Carey Price still struggling with the injury that he aggravated in Sochi, the Montreal Canadiens will roll out backup Peter Budaj against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Being forced to move forward without a gold-medal winning netminder isn’t usually a good thing, but Budaj has pretty strong stats against Toronto.

In his first outing following the 2014 Winter Olympics, Budaj allowed five goals against the Pittsburgh Penguins but managed to secure the win in a shootout. He’ll look to be a bit more steady against a Toronto team that will be trying to bounce back from a loss at the hands of the New York Islanders on Thursday.
As the rust breaks off following the long Winter break, look for these two rivals to put on a solid showing as the race for a playoff spot heats up.
