Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is pretty nimble in the pocket, but how would his nifty footwork transfer to the dance floor?

Well, we may soon find out.

The Super Bowl winner recently told Access Hollywood that he has aspirations of being on ABC’s smash hit Dancing with the Stars.

His comments were transcribed by The Seattle Times:

"“I’m going to do it,” he told Access Hollywood. “At some point, I’m going to definitely do it. I love ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ I love watching, and I love dancing myself, so hopefully, I could win it.”"

Now don’t worry, Seattle fans. Wilson isn’t going to bail on football just so he can get his foxtrot on:

"“I need to focus on my football career right now. It’s one of those things where I’m trying to do as much as I can winning football games for the Seattle Seahawks and our franchise, but I will do it at some point, for sure.”"

Considering the new host of the ABC show, Wilson better bring Richard Sherman along.
