The twins attended Nebraska’s junior day last month and were in Lincoln for another visit Saturday.
Michael Bruntz of 24/7 Sports has the scoop.
The commitment was a long time coming for the Davis twins who were among Nebraska’s top defensive line targets.
The twins visited Nebraska for the season-opener last season, then returned for Big Red Weekend at the beginning of February. Prior to Saturday’s visit, the Twins told 247Sports that Nebraska had been their clear favorite in part because of the recruiting job done by John Garrison and Rick Kaczenski.
The twins attend Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Missouri.
The 6’2, 260-pound Carlos Davis is a 4-star strong side defensive end. He is ranked as the 14th best strong side defensive end prospect, the fourth best overall player in the state of Missouri and the 301st ranked overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Khalil Davis, who is also 6’2 and 260 pounds, is a 3-star defensive tackle. He is ranked as the 25th best defensive tackle prospect, the sixth best overall player in the state of Missouri and the 432nd ranked overall prospect in the class of 2015.
The twins chose Nebraska over offers from the Arizona State Sun Devils, Kansas Jayhawks and Missouri Tigers.
