Ex-NBA player attacks parent at 3rd grade basketball game (Video)

Former NBA player Erick Barkley created quite the scene at a 3rd grade AAU game this week.

The former Trailblazer was coaching a game in Ardsley, New York and according to the New York Post, became upset because he felt a player on the opposing team was ineligible. After the game he attacked the parent and there is a bit of NSFW language.

“Before the game, Barkley got into a beef with the father of a kid on the other team. Barkley said the kid couldn’t play because he was on more than one team,” said a parent. “After a half-hour of arguing, the kid was allowed to play.”

He actually played on the same team at St John’s as Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest so maybe that is where he learned his coping skills. There was a parent who somewhat vouched for him by saying that he isn’t a bad guy, he just like to beat people up.

That’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.
