It’s no secret that the world of professional wrestling has fans in other professional sports across the globe. Almost everybody shows up to live events in their respected cities and they usually show up in groups.

Now professional football players have appeared at more live WWE events than any other organization out there. Maybe it’s because of the whole contact sport thing, big guys throwing each other around just to entertain the crowd.

According to NoDQ.com, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski attended a WWE NXT taping last night. I highly doubt the WWE made Gronkowski pay for his tickets, even though it doesn’t cost that much to get in. That and most of their tickets are free to anybody who attends Full Sail University.

I always thought Gronkowski was a professional wrestling fan, I know there are a handful who may not be into the sport. But the 6’6 265 big man was enjoying the show with the crowd, even wore a Mojo Rawley t-shirt.

Rawley is a former defensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals who was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Green Bay Packers in 2009.
