Washington Wizards at Philadelphia 76ers final score: Wizards defeat 76ers 122-103


The Washington Wizards defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 122-103 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.  The Wizards improved to 31-28, and the 76ers fell to 15-44.

Wizards small forward Trevor Ariza scored 40 points to lead Washington past a struggling Philadelphia squad.  The 76ers have now lost 13 straight games.

Washington point guard John Wall added 17 points and 16 assists.  Small Forward Martell Webster netted 17 points, grabbed three boards, and stole the ball twice.  Power forward Trevor Booker scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.  Center Marcin Gortat finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds, and shooting guard Bradley Beal added 11 points and five assists.

76ers shooting guard Tony Wroten scored 19 points along with three rebounds and two assists.  Power forward Thaddeus Young netted 17 points, collected three boards, dished out five assists, and grabbed three steals.  Point guard Michael Carter-Williams scored 15 points along with six rebounds and seven assists.  Point guard Eric Maynor finished with 13 points and five rebounds, and shooting guard James Anderson added 13 points and three steals.

Next game: The Wizards play the Grizzlies on Monday at 7 pm ET.  The 76ers play at Orlando tomorrow at 6 pm ET.
