Matt Garza was sleepless before Brewers Spring debut

I know the picture above is a little misleading, but it’s the only photo that would fit perfectly on the website. Matt Garza is a little bit of a character and has a crazy sense of humor. Anyways, right handed pitcher Matt Garza made his Spring Training debut for the Milwaukee Brewers today against the Colorado Rockies.

Garza, who will be pitching against his former team (Chicago Cubs) this year, struggled during today’s outing. According to FSN Wisconsin on Twitter, Garza was unable to sleep the night before because of how excited he was.

Garza allowed four runs on four hits in his first game as a member of the Brew Crew. He also walked two batters and failed to record a strike out. Like I’ve said a couple times before, this was Garza’s first Spring Training game with the team.

He’ll eventually whip into shape once he gets a little more comfortable.
