It’s been a couple of years since Hall of Fame wrestle Shawn Michaels has stepped into the ring to compete in an actual match. He’s made a handful of appearances since his final match at WrestleMania 26, but has stayed true to his word unlike other wrestlers who have had “retirement matches” in their career.
Yes, I’m talking to you Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. I know a lot of wrestlers claimed they have retired, only to jump ship. Anyways, both of these guys are back with the company but haven’t stepped into the squared circle to anybody on.
Now with WrestleMania just around the corner, certain questions are going to be asked to certain Superstars of the past. Guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels to be specific. There’s always that question if they’ll be willing to come back for one more match at WrestleMania.
According to NoDQ.com, Shawn was asked this question while attending the “O’Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels” in Chicago, Illinois yesterday afternoon. Michaels told the fan who asked the question that he was done with in-ring wrestling.
The guy is hands down the best performer to have ever laced up a pair of boots. He’s had a lot of wonderful matches in his career and deserves to go hunting whenever he pleases.
