The No. 3 Arizona Wildcats defeated the Stanford Cardinals 79-66 at the McKale Center in Tuscon, Arizona. The Wildcats improved to 27-2 (14-2 Pac-12), and the Cardinals fell to 18-10 (9-7 Pac-12).
The Wildcats continue to take care of business in the Pac-12. They are 14-2 in conference play, which is one heck of an accomplishment.

Freshman sensation Aaron Gordon led the Wildcats with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Gordon was 8 for 13 from the field. Guard T.J. McConnell scored 14 points along with four assists and two rebounds. Guard Gabe York netted 12 points and collected three rebounds. Guard Nick Johnson added 11 points, four assists, and three rebounds. Center Kaleb Tarczewski finished with 10 points and six boards.
Arizona outrebounded Stanford 40-31. Stanford will look to emphasize rebounding in their final two regular season games.
Stanford forward Josh Huestis scored 22 points and collected 12 rebounds. Guard Anthony Brown added 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Forward Dwight Powell netted 12 points along with eight rebounds. Guard Chasson Randle finished with 12 points, two rebounds, and two assists.
Next game: Arizona plays at Oregon State on Wednesday at 11 pm ET. Stanford plays Colorado on Wednesday at 9 pm ET.
