In breaking news from the final day of the 2014 Honda Classic, Tiger Woods has withdrew from the event on Sunday just moments ago.
Tiger Woods withdrew from the Honda Classic. He was +5 on the front 9, then made par on holes 10-13 before withdrawing.

Woods was not so good on that front-9, shooting the +5, but as stated above, was making somewhat of a comeback on holes 10-13. In addition, it’s being reported that Woods pulled himself from the event due to lingering back issues, which have come into play before in hindering his pursuit of more championships.
An even such as this, with Woods withdrawing, makes it seem less and less likely that he will ultimately catch Jack Nicklaus’ record for major wins at 18, as Woods’ fall from the top continues to spiral out of control.
While he’s had his few good moments on the course, the negatives have more than outweighed the positives, and this happening on Sunday is just another example of that.
