Bernard Pollard re-signs with Tennessee Titans
Last week, a report surfaced that safety Bernard Pollard was in discussions to return to the Tennessee Titans. On Monday, the two sides made things official.
The team has not made an official announcement, but Pollard let the world know of his intentions to stick with the Titans via his twitter account.
Therefore, exact terms of the deal have not been released yet.
Pollard signed with the Titans in the offseason after spending the previous two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, winning a Super Bowl with them during the 2012 season.
Last season, Pollard recorded 99 tackles, picked off three passes, had 10 passes defended and 0.5 sacks.
The 29-year old safety, who is 6’1 and 225 pounds, began his career in 2006. He was drafted with the 54th overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Houston Texans in 2009 and 2010 before joining the Ravens in 2011.
