We’re just about a month away from the premiere of the new season of Game of Thrones on HBO and the show is already starting to roll out the red carpet when it comes to things we want to know about the upcoming season. We’ve seen trailers, featurettes, specials and set photos emerge from the new season of Game of Thrones and now we’re getting a look at episode titles.
One thing that these titles do, besides give us titles for the episodes, is possibly spoil some major events for viewers waiting for the show to premiere.
Here’s a look at the first batch of episode titles released for Game of Thrones, with possible spoilers:
Season 4, Episode 1: “Two Swords.” Running time: 58 minutes
Season 4, Episode 2: “The Lion and the Rose.” Running time: 52 minutes
Season 4, Episode 3: “Breaker of Chains.” Running time: 56 minutes
Season 4, Episode 4: “Oathkeeper.” Running time: 54 minutes
The titles themselves could be references to things like melting down Ned Stark’s sword Ice to create ‘Two Swords’ and there seems to be an obvious reference to Daenerys in the episode title ‘Break the Chains’.
We can’t be sure if there are spoilers in the titles, but we will soon find out as the first episode of the fourth season of Game of Thrones is right around the corner on April 6th.
