NBA Rumors: Carmelo Anthony liked 'Melo-to-Chicago Bulls' sign

The New York Knicks took another beating on Sunday afternoon, this time at the hands of the Chicago Bulls.

The poor display resulted in Carmelo Anthony lashing out at his teammates and franchise, suggesting they lack a sense of pride.

During the loss, the crowd was littered with Chicago-based fans encouraging Carmelo to sign with the Bulls during the offseason, including fans dressed in Carmelo Anthony Bulls jerseys and signs promoting Melo to the Windy City.

So what did the former Orangeman think of the recruiting?

“It was a good sign,” Melo said with a laugh. “It was a good sign. I don’t know what you want me to say about that.”

In fairness, there’s not much for Carmelo to say here outside of suggesting the sign was silly or that he didn’t even notice it. Of course, he didn’t go with either of those answers though I don’t think there’s much to read into here – simply Melo replying to a question with a basic answer.
