On Monday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their new uniforms (you can check out several pictures of the brand new uniforms here).

The Buccaneers did not get the reaction they wanted. The uniforms don’t really look like current NFL uniforms and the Buccaneers had one of the more popular uniforms before the change.

Another popular Buccaneers’ uniform are their old orange and creamsicle jerseys.

Last season, the NFL passed a helmet rule that prohibited the Buccaneers from wearing those uniforms because teams are no longer allowed to change helmets during the season.

The Buccaneers are hoping they can wear their throwback uniforms this season.

“The throwback uniforms are one of our favorite games of the year,” Buccaneers Co-Chairman Edward Glazer said via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. “They wanted the players to wear the same helmets throughout the whole year [but] we’re hopeful with the NFL that these rules may get changed again because we love our throwback look.”

What do you think, FanSided? You’d like to see the orange jerseys again, right?
