Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant likely still has a few NBA seasons left in his knees, but I’m pretty sure once he hangs the sneakers up he’d have a career in marketing – assuming he wanted one.
Bryant has become a master of commercialization in recent years, especially in regards to himself.
Just look at how he handled his potential return this season, posting cryptic messages and avatars on social media that had the internet buzzing. Now he’s at it again, likely with the assistance of Nike.
The Black Mamba posted a video on his Instagram page which featured a handful of custom products like a Kobe Beef steak, a light bulb and a pen – all covered (or etched) in his famed logo. This came just days after Bryant posted a photo of his new custom piano shaped like his logo.
The piano and picture were all part of a promotional tool used for Bryant’s appearance at a Southern California shopping mall, so this video likely fits that trend.
Still pretty funny though.
