Lindy Ruff Tweets Under A Fake Name

During an interview with SportsNet on Tuesday, Dallas Stars coach Lindy Ruff admitted that he did use Twitter, but he did so under a fake persona. That news lead to a search of Twitter for any clues as to what account could possibly belong to Ruff.

It appears that the mystery of the Ruff account has been solved.

An account by the name of “lanceroll” has been spotted, and appears to be the account of Ruff. The clues being put together are that Ruff’s initials are LR just like the initials in LanceRoll. Also, the account tweeted pictures from inside the Team Canada locker room during the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Who else would be anonymously tweeting pictures from inside the locker room? Oh yeah, and there is the one big tweet of a picture of Ruff in Sochi.

We’ll see if Ruff has anything to say if, and when, he is confronted about it.
