NFL rumors: Andre Roberts doesn’t expect to re-sign with Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals will need to take a long look at some of their pending free agents with time running out before the free agency period begins, and it is not looking like wide receiver Andre Roberts will be back with the team.
While every expert will have their opinion, it is Roberts who thinks his time with the Cardinals has come to an end.
“I don’t think I’ll be back in Arizona,” Roberts said, via azcardinals.com. “I haven’t received any phone calls from Arizona.”
While Roberts is not considered a star wide receiver, he is a very capable complementary pass catcher and should get some looks on the open market from teams who are looking for a No. 2 wide receiver.
If the Detroit Lions prefer to build through free agency, they would be a very intriguing landing place.
