The Anaheim Ducks have traded forward Dustin Penner to the Washington Capitals according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie. Going back to the Ducks for Penner is a fourth-round pick according to McKenzie.
In 49 games this season, Penner has 13 goals and 19 assists for 32 points for an Anaheim team that sits atop the NHL with the league’s best record. He now goes to a Capitals team simply fighting for a chance to make it into the playoffs.
