NHL Trade Deadline: Devils, Wild Reach Deal On Brodeur

The career of Martin Brodeur as a New Jersey Devil looks like it will end after tonight. According to the New York Daily News, the Devils and the Minnesota Wild have agreed to a deal that will send one of the greatest goaltenders of all time to the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

The deal is pending approval by Brodeur, who has a no-trade clause in his contract. The report states that Brodeur wants one last home game with the Devils before agreeing to the deal. That game is tonight against the Detroit Red Wings. The game tonight also just happens to be the 1,250th time that Brodeur will play in a regular season game for the Devils.

More To Come.
