Just yesterday, E! Online broke the news that Captain America: The Winter Soldier actress Scarlett Johansson is expecting her first child with her fiancé, French journalist Romain Dauriac. This is certainly great news for the young couple, but now there is a great, big elephant in the room that everyone wants to know, but no one wants to ask; what happens to The Avengers: Age of Ultron?
As you know, the actress plays Natasha Romanoff, better known as The Black Widow, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has appeared in Iron Man, The Avengers, and is about to appear in Captain America: The Winter Soldier alongside Chris Evans.
Of course, with the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier right around the corner, one could imagine that she would be pretty tied up at the moment. She is currently doing the press tour for the film.
According to E! Online, when she has completed her work on the press tour, the studio will fast track her scenes in order to accommodate her pregnancy and the production of the film.
This was is really the only solution to the matter other than delaying the production all together, which would cost the studio significantly more money. After all, it is not like her outfit in the films leaves much to the imagination. It would be pretty hard to hide a growing life inside of you under a skin-tight black suit.
According to the article, Johansson is scheduled to begin filming her scenes overseas on April 5th at the conclusion of the Captain America press tour.
Congratulations to Scarlett Johansson and her fiancé Romain Dauriac.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released on April 4, 2014. Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2015.
