Adam Muema suggests he was drafted by Seahawks in Twitter bio

The Adam Muema situation continues to get more odd by the day.

You may recall, Muema was the player who randomly decided to leave the NFL’s Scouting Combine informing him that he would be drafted by the Seattle Seahawks.

He allegedly slept in an airport for three days (in his combine uniform) and recently engaged in a conversation with a Twitter use who he believed to be Jesus.

Now Muema has changed his Twitter bio to suggest that he has been drafted by the Seattle Seahawks and will wear #8.

Muema has returned to California and a San Diego State University spokesman confirmed the university’s football coaches restored contact with him but didn’t elaborate. No decision has been made about Muema’s participation in San Diego State’s March 19 pro day, where NFL hopefuls work out for scouts.

Muema remains convinced God told him the Seattle Seahawks would select him in May’s draft. That belief is so strong that his Twitter biography already lists him as No. 8 for the team.

What started out as extremely perplexing has turned into a pretty sad situation.

Hopefully he gets the help he needs moving forward.
