The Philadelphia Eagles have some decisions on their hands this offseason and they seem to be making them before free agency even opens next week. While the team decided to bring back both Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin, they’ve also decided to part ways with a few players as well — namely Jason Avant.

We can apparently add Michael Vick’s name to that list as CBSSports reporter Jason La Canfora is reporting that Vick will not be back with the Eagles in any capacity in 2014.

We sort of figured this when it was announced that second-year quarterback Matt Barkley was going to get a legit shot at the backup job and Vick’s name didn’t come up.

However, Vick’s name is coming up in connection to teams like the New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers which means while the Eagles don’t want him, he’ll find work somewhere int he NFL this upcoming season.
