NHL Trade Deadline: Sabres, Kings Make Deal

A minor trade has been completed involving prospects as the Buffalo Sabres have sent defenseman Brayden McNabb and two second-round draft picks to the Los Angeles Kings for prospects Hudson Fasching and Nicholas Deslaurier.

McNabb has spent most of the season in Buffalo’s AHL affiliate in Rochester. Deslaurier has been in Manchester, NH with the Kings affiliate. Fasching, the centerpiece to this deal for the Sabres, is a freshman at the University of Minnesota, and was a member of the 2014 United States World Junior Championship team.
