Stage Fright: Horror Musical Brings Fright Center Stage (Video)

The people at Magnet Releasing have brought horror center stage with a new horror musical. Thanks to Yahoo! Movies, we now have a look at the Red Band Trailer for the upcoming film Stage Fright.

Here is a look at the official synopsis of the film courtesy of

A snobby musical theater camp is terrorized by a blood-thirsty killer who hates musical theater.”

In the trailer we watch as a young girl by the name of Camilla dreams of being on the big stage just like her mother. Unfortunately, she finds herself trapped in the kitchen of an elitist musical theater camp in the typical “you’re not good enough for us” scenario.

Before she got to where she is today, she had her mother Kylie. Kylie was the star of the company; however, she was brutally murdered before going onstage.

Now, the camp is putting on the same production that her mother played in. Unfortunately, it is quite apparent that someone doesn’t want them putting on this production as people start to get brutally murdered just like Camilla’s mother.

**WARNING** As I said before, this is the Red Band Trailer for the film. There is a large amount of violence and gore in the trailer. If you are offended by such things, or in a location not conductive to such material, then I recommend that you hit back right now. Otherwise, enjoy.

The film stars Allie MacDonald as Camilla Swanson and Minnie Driver as her mother Kylie. Stage Fright also stars Roger McCall, Douglas Smith, Meat Loaf, and many more.

Stage Fright is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 9, 2014.
