It was reported on late Wednesday night that Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans has been able to vault himself into the projected top-10 for most NFL Draft experts. Evans himself even acknowledged this much. However, this week, Evans had meetings with two teams that are nowhere near the top-10, the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers, bringing up the possibility that we might see a trade in the top-10.

According to Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle, both the Pats and the Niners had sit-downs with the former Aggies star.

Texas A&M held a Pro Day on Wednesday, but Evans didn’t participate following his amazing showing at the Scouting Combine in which he clocked in at 4.53 in the 40-yard dash with a massive 6-5, 225-pound frame.

The prospects of Evans playing with both Tom Brady and Colin Kaepernick are scary, but would either team make the move to make that happen?

Crazier things have happened.
