I guess Hooper, the Detroit Pistons mascot, has had enough of Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah.

The former Florida Gator has been destroying opponents all season and is quickly putting his name in the MVP race alongside LeBron James and Kevin Durant, odd as that is to say.

He continued that trend on Wednesday night after the Bulls defeated the Pistons behind Noah and his triple-double – the second time he’s accomplished such in his past three games.

Hoping to possibly scare the high quality player (or something else) out of Noah, Hooper decided to crawl into an empty space between two walls in the tunnel of the Auburn Hills Palace. He waited until the Bulls’ big man made his way towards the visiting locker room, jumping out an unsuspecting Noah, clearly scaring the daylights out of him.

Noah seemed to have a good smile over it all – once he realized the furry, six-foot tall creature leaping at him was nothing more than a mascot.

Pretty sure Hooper might catch a fist to the grill if he does that again though.
