Lil Boosie drops a new free style, fresh out of prison


Rapper Lil Boosie was released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night.   He had been serving prison time since 2009 for drug charges. He also went on trial for murder but was found not guilty.

Angola State Penitentiary Warden Burl Cain confirms the rapper, who is legally named Torrence Hatch, was released at 7:10 p.m. He was transferred to a sheriff’s department facility in St. Francisville where family members were waiting for him.

Boosie wasted no time getting back to rhyming dropping a free style, which you can see below.

 

 

Lil Boosie is also speaking at an event on Monday.

Rapper Lil Boosie will speak at an event in New Orleans on March 10, according to an invitation that was sent to the media Wednesday.

The invite reads “Trill Entertainment and Atlantic Records invites you to hear #BoosieSpeak.” The event will be held at the W Hotel at 1 p.m.
