There were a lot of NFL scouts that were disappointed at the recent NFL Scouting Combine that couldn’t see athletic Ohio State running back Ryan Shazier run the 40-yard dash because of a hamstring injury. At his Pro Day on Friday morning, unfortunately, Shazier tweaked the hamstring, however, he was still able to clock in with a mind-blowing time of and unofficial 4.36 in the 40-yard dash.

At the Combine, Shazier came in at 6-1 and 237-pounds, which makes the 40 time that much more incredible. If he were to have run it at the Combine, then that time would’ve been the fourth-fastest of any player at the event, at any position, not just linebacker.

However, as amazing as the time is and the fact that he was able to do so with the hamstring not being at 100%, you have to wonder how many teams are going to question the health once they get past the eye-popping number.

Already, Shazier doesn’t appear in the first round of a lot of Mock Drafts, so now he appears to be a wild card.
