One of the more sought players in the upcoming NFL Free Agency period will undoubtedly be Houston Texans running back Ben Tate. As a matter of fact, many have him at the top of their free agent running back lists, and rightfully so. He’s been phenomenal in his time backing up one of the elite running backs in the NFL in Arian Foster, which is why Tate firmly believes he’ll be bringing the same thing to the table for whomever signs him.

"“I think I can bring you an elite running back,” Tate said. “I’ve learned a lot being behind Arian. Definitely, when I’m healthy I think I’m an elite running back in this league, and I feel like I can show my abilities and my numbers and my play will speak for itself, and guys will be able to see that I am a guy who is a top-five running back in this league, which I believe once I get out there and get to show that on a consistent basis."

Tate, who turns 26 before the 2014 season starts is right at the age where he can be an elite player for a team, but the only question is, who will pay him like one?
