Brad Penny denies Royals account of wall punch

This may be the most that Brad Penny has been written about in his career.

Despite reports from Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star and Jerry Crasnick of MLB.com, Brad Penny apparently told Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish that the reports of him losing his temper are false. It had been reported that Penny was furious with his start against the White Sox on Thursday and injured his non-pitching hand by punching a dugout wall. Penny is being quick to deny it, and he doesn’t sound too enthralled with the news being spread about him.

I suppose the next logical progression is to see what Royals officials say in response to this.
