Want to get your hands on an iPhone 6? There’s a pretty good chance you’ll able to do so with relative ease as Laptop (via Yahoo) is reporting that Apple plans to order 90 million units from their supplier/builder Foxconn.
To put that into perspective, Apple sold 51 million iPhone’s during the past fiscal quarter, so the 90 million should have no problem keeping up with demand.
It’s no secret that the iPhone 6 is going be a big launch, as Apple will finally offer a bigger display to better challenge the likes of the Galaxy S5 and other flagship Android phones and phablets. In anticipation of huge demand, Apple has reportedly ordered 90 million iPhone 6 units from Foxconn.
So when can you pick up the new iPhone 6? Well, a release date has yet to officially be announced though rumors do hint at an earlier than anticipated release date.
It was expected that the iPhone 6 wouldn’t be released until Fall/holiday time but recent reports suggest the date will be moved up, likely hitting store shelves in ‘late’ Summer.
