MLB Rumors: Dodgers favorite to win World Series per popular oddsmaker

Are the Los Angeles Dodgers the best team in Major League Baseball?

That’s the belief of popular oddsmaker Bovada who recently put out their 2014 season odds with the Dodgers coming in as the World Series favorites.

Below the Dodgers are the St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers, both of whom played in their respective league’s Championship Series last season.

Per Yahoo Sports:

Bovada, a leading sports gaming site, has announced the Los Angeles Dodgers are the 2014 World Series favorites at 13/2, with the St. Louis Cardinals (8/1) and Detroit Tigers (9/1) next in line.

Of course, it was also Bovada who famously picked the Toronto Blue Jays to win the 2013 World Series, so the predictions need to be taken with a grain of salt.
