NBA Rumors: Carmelo Anthony allegedly spoke to Kevin Love at All-Star game

It appears Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah wasn’t the only NBA player to allegedly speak to Carmelo Anthony during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend.

It’s been rumored that Noah told the New York Knicks forward that he needed to join the Bulls if he wanted to win an NBA Championship and now according to CSN Chicago, Kevin Love allegedly spoke with Carmelo as well.

CSNChicago.com confirmed that ESPN’s report that Noah did discuss the prospect of Anthony relocating from New York to Chicago, but a league source said that Anthony subsequently had a conversation with Timberwolves All-Star power forward Kevin Love, a oft-rumored Knicks free-agency target in 2015.

There was no context as to what the two players spoke about. It could have been something as simply as how Anthony likes New York or it could have been a bit more intriguing regarding potential free agent plans.

To be a fly on that arena wall, huh?

Certainly wouldn’t be the first time players have used All-Star weekend to forge free agency plans.
