Yasmani Grandal has epic videobomb on San Diego Padres teammate (Video)

There are videobombs. And then there are videobombs.

San Diego Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal decided to go with the latter.

Sure, there have been some pretty solid videobombs which featured nothing more than a person (or athlete, in this instance) walking by and mean mugging for the camera. But Grandal wanted to take things a bit further as Seth Smith was doing a sit-down interview.

With Smith completely oblivious, Grandal decides to walk into the camera frame and make himself comfortable in the imaginary hitting box behind Smith’s head.

A few twirls of the bat and Grandal takes his swing.

That alone would have been a pretty solid videobomb, but Grandal wasn’t done – no – not even close.

After his swing, Grandal decided to drop to one knee where he then took his bat, wrapped it on his arm and used it as an imaginary gun – shooting the fake ball he just hit out of the sky.

Then in the most bawse of ways, casually dropped the bat and trotted out of camera view.
