Bobby McMillen commits to Iowa State Cyclones

The Iowa State Cyclones picked up a commitment from outside linebacker Bobby McMillen on Saturday.

The 6’2, 215-pound McMillen attends Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois, near Chicago.

McMillen surprised some with his decision. Many had him pegged to stay close to home and attend Illinois. In fact, 100% 0f 24/7 Sports’ crystal ball predictions thought he would sign with the Illini.

Of course, signing day is still 11 months away so the Illini are not out of the race by any means.

McMillen is not currently ranked by 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

He also had an offer from the Central Michigan Chippewas and has also drawn interest from the Cincinnati Bearcats, Indiana Hoosiers and Northern Illinois Huskies, among others.

The Cyclones offered McMillen last month.
