Talk about a rough day for Ian Poulter.

The PGA Tour golfer wasn’t happy with fellow tour member Hideki Matsuyama, who he blasted multiple times on Twitter – the entire exchange apparently happening over a non-repaired divot.

Poulter was playing in the group directly behind Matsuyama and understandably wasn’t thrilled when he came across the gouge of grass taken out by the 22-year-old, who in frustration after a missed putt, slammed his club into the green.

But the story was far from being over as Poulter was matched up with Matsuyama in today’s third round of the World Golf Championships and fully intends (and possibly already has) to call the young golfer out on his mistake.

Things could have likely stopped there, but Poulter was not a happy camper and then got into a social media scuffle with a reporter, calling him a ‘penis’.

It’s like the PGA Tour and the WWE merged.

Who’s going to hit Tiger with a chair and send Rickie Fowler through a table?!?!?
