The 2013-14 college basketball regular season is coming to a close this weekend, which means that it’s time for the conference tournaments to get in full swing. One of the conferences that are among the first to set their field is that of the Big 12.

The festivities will get kicked off on Mar. 12 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

This conference was one of the more exciting to watch this season, and during the last day of regular season on Saturday, we were reminded of that once again.

The Kansas Jayhawks, the top-seeded team in this tournament and currently ranked eighth in the nation, were upset on the road by West Virginia, despite Andrew Wiggins dropping in a career-high 41 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

Then, later on in the afternoon, Oklahoma State and Iowa State battled each other to another overtime classic, with the Cyclones coming away with the four-point victory.

This particular tournament could prove to be one of the more exciting to watch this month.
