NFL Free Agency: ‘Currently no market for running backs’

There are a lot of running backs available on the free agency market, unfortunately teams aren’t really interested so far. It isn’t too surprising as the running back position has become more “replaceable” over the years with teams electing to use players drafted and under smaller contracts.

"During the first day of the second annual legal tampering period, plenty of teams reportedly have shown interest in plenty of players. Few if any are running backs.As one source who has been actively working the phones throughout the day told PFT on Saturday night, there’s currently no market for running backs."
