With the legal tampering window officially open as teams around the NFL prepare for the official start of free agency on Tuesday, players have been able to begin discussions with teams who have interest.

One of the players who has been seeing the most action early is Tennessee Titans cornerback Alterraun Verner.

The latest team to show interest in the Pro Bowl cornerback is the New York Giants.

With Sam Shields receiving a deal from the Green Bay Packers that pays $9.75 million per year, Verner won’t come cheap but that doesn’t appear to be slowing down his market. He should be signed within the first wave of free agents once teams can officially offer a deal.
