It looks like C.J. Wilson is going to need to dip into that five-year, $77.5 million dollar contract he stole from the Anaheim Angels last offseason.

The starting pitcher had an alarming sight greet him after a recent practice as his car windshield was shattered thanks to a batting practice home run.

With little area off limits at Major League ballparks (both regular season and Spring Training), most player parking lots are placed behind the venue – unless they’re built in like Petco Park, for example.

That left Wilson’s ride completely exposed where it suffered the nasty bruise – something that almost always takes place at least once during the Spring.

Haha! First time in 13 spring trainings that my car got hit with a baseball. @zoomzoomnation CX5 loses windshield to lefty foul ball BP homer. May the odds ever be in your favor! #mazda #springtraining14 @angels #BPHomers #trygoingdeeptocenter

Now – I’m not one to tell another man how to spend his money, but Wilson has a Mazda? Really? A near $80 million contract and he didn’t even spring for a BMW? Lexus? Acura?! Anything?!
