The Arizona Cardinals are heavily interested in adding an offensive tackle during the offseason, whether it be through free agency or in the 2014 NFL Draft. One of the options for the team will be free agent offensive tackle Jared Veldheer, who they reportedly are “very interested” in.

The report comes from Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.

As Somers states, the Cardinals are also believed to have interest in Branden Albert, but he is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins and Veldheer would be less of a financial investment.

Veldheer is also a better fit in the Cardinals scheme than the other top offensive tackle, Eugene Monroe.

It appears that a quick market could be shaping up for the offensive tackles once free agency begins on Tuesday.
