The only ‘showtime’ taking place in Los Angeles this season is coming from the Clippers who continue to put on dunking exhibitions on a nightly basis.
Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks was no different, much in part to point guard Chris Paul who unleashed yet another double-double, racking up ten assists in the one-point victory.
His most impressive (though likely easiest) of the evening came on a fast break, tossing an alley-oop off the backboard to a trailing DeAndre Jordan.
Paul, being the pickpocket that he is, came up with a loose ball while on defense and streaked down the court.
Unselfish, Paul skipped on a wide open lay-in and opted to give it up to his big man who thundered down the oop in the process.
Shockingly, it was just a par-for-the-course dunk for Jordan and the Clippers, which says plenty considering that type of play would be among the best of the season for the vast majority of teams in the NBA.
