Dolphins free agency rumors: Branden Albert expected to sign with Miami

Free agent offensive tackle Branden Albert is one of the best available linemen available on the open market, but he is not expected to last long once free agency officially opens on Tuesday afternoon.

After plenty of speculation, it is being reported that Albert is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins shortly after the market opens.

Profootballtalk.com reports “all signs” are pointing toward Albert joining Miami.

The Dolphins flirted with the idea of acquiring Albert from the Kansas City Chiefs last offseason, but the second-round asking price was too much for the team at that time. Now, they may just get the man they wanted without having to give up a draft pick to make it happen.

    Better get Monroe over Albert…
    Age matters…

I’m thinking even though Monroe may be a better player Albert is gonna be cheaper. Besides he wants to be in Miami. I think it’s a done deal. This will save us some money to get Byrd from the Bills.

Plus Albert missed 5 games in 2012 and 4 games last year!!!! Can anybody say Jake Long???? Monroe is PRIME!!
