Former Georgia Bulldogs running back Isaiah Crowell began his collegiate career as a five-star recruit, but a string of off-field incidents led to the running back changing schools and officially landing with the Alabama State Hornets.
Now that his college career is in the books, Crowell is working towards proving himself in the NFL, but he may struggle to get drafted.
While his talent suggests that Crowell should be an early pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, his off-field and character concerns may be scaring teams off. That said, Gil Brandt of NFL.com still believes the running back could be worth a flier in the sixth- or seventh-round of May’s draft.
At the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine, Crowell measured 5-foot-11 and weight 224 pounds. He is a sturdy back who ran a 4.57, so he should definitely draw some interest whenever potential suitors are on the clock.
