Free agent defensive end Anthony Spencer is available for teams who are looking to bolster their pass rush during free agency, but there has yet to be a specific team linked to showing interest in the former Dallas Cowboy.

However, a report from Calvin Wakins of ESPN Dallas states that “nearly seven teams” are interested in the free agent.

It certainly seems like agent speak on the Spencer front, because his camp would likely be leaking the names of those interested if they felt like it could help drive up his asking price.

Spencer is aging and was shut down due to an injury last season, but he should still receive some solid interest once the first wave of free agent signings are in the books.
