Patriots Free Agency Rumors: ‘Strong push’ to re-sign Julian Edelman

The New England Patriots want to keep wide receiver Julian Edelman around. According to Comcast SportsNet New England’s Mike Giardi, a team source tells him that there is a “strong push” inside the front office to re-sign free agent Julian Edelman.

Edelman caught 105 passes for 1,056 yards and replaced Welker like they hoped Danny Amendola might go, who they’re considering let go.
